RE isn't as BB or bust for exits. Came across a guy at Carlyle on LinkedIn the other day that came from Baird of all places. Had no idea Baird even had a RE group. I would think the groups that do private capital would have the most exposure to PE fund managers. PJT and Evercore come to mind.

Don’t waste your time working at these banks, just go work for a smaller repe fund and lateral if you can’t get your coveted MF spot right away. These companies value actual real estate deal experience much more than what you’re doing in a baml re group.
