Promotion Comp

Working for a mid-size B/D, mainly an agency lender. Plans are to be promoted to trading/placement of MBS'.

I will be going in for salary negotiations. I have 3 yrs' exp as an analyst and then an associate. My current comp is about 135k depending on bonuses.

This was basically a high-profile training to see if I could cut it and jump to placement, risk, and hedging. Wondering what is an appropriate ask for a increase in comp! As I will be actively controlling some of the profits the company receives.
