Background Check and Private Tutoring

Hi,

I used to do some private tutoring for a student in high school, and I've currently included it on my resume. However, I don't really have any proof of this (no pay slips or anything), except for a reference to the person I did it for, who I'd rather not drag into a potential background check. Would this be a possible cause for concern and should I leave it off my resume?
