Please critique; Senior looking for IBD internship.
I would appreciate any help from those more experienced in the field. Currently applying for internships at boutique banks in Chicago with hopes to become a summer analyst.

Edit: Cumulative GPA: 3.8, Major GPA: 4.0 currently. Since there is little difference, I did not plan on adding "Major GPA" to my resume, but just added for reference.
The thing that jump out at me was the fact that you can use all those fancy Adobe software that are usually only used by graphics/animation designers, while you didn't list your proficiency in more banking-related software categories, such as Excel, etc.
You should get rid of those skills - completely irrelevant for banking.
GPA/finance major look good, but not enough finance work experience. Put finance related clubs you are in under work experience.
Completely understand your point. However, from what I have read in a few different places, stating that you are proficient in MS Office applications is kind of obvious if you were able to write a resume. I will add it anyways.
Do you recommend adding a separate listing for Major GPA, not just the cumulative?
Also, I do not have any finance experience, but I am part of a finance related club which I can list. However, we have not done any projects or deals that I would be able to list. It is more for networking purposes I would say.
While my main goal is to achieve an internship with an investment bank, I am applying for anything finance related to add to my experience.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
You need to embellish the club. If you feel guilty about it, present a stock at your next meeting, build a simple valuation model, look at comps, etc.
Where's the leadership part of your "work and leadership" category? You have solid grades, a well presented internship, and cool but irrelevant skills. Much like cashcow suggested, put in some of the extracurriculars you're heavily involved with. I don't think you have to completely take out the Adobe stuff, but consolidate as much as possible.
You could also include unique interests or any travel you've done. Remember, you're trying to catch the eye of that 2nd year analyst going through resumes on the 37th floor of some highrise in the loop during dinner... in between bites of sandwich and playful banter over why da Bears suck (Cutler) and the ever shady mayor Daley.
In my past experiences, smaller firms care about figuring out who you are a lot more than the BBs (big boys) and the soft stuff ends up carrying more weight.

I guess I have minimal leadership experience as far as school clubs or anything worth mentioning. Maybe a class project where I lead the group? Nothing finance related, mostly marketing for a non-profit organization.
Definitely will consolidate the irrelevant skills and add in office/excel.
I am aware that many smaller firms are looking to find out WHO you are, and adding interests will help with this. I feel that interests usually make a resume look and feel weak, but it may be necessary to stand out! My problem is I am not sure how to word them.
No noteworthy travel, but maybe competing in a running races (no marathons, but acouple 5k's, 10k's) and training a professional boxer? Any idea on how I can word this appropriately?
