Please help me critique my resume

Hey monkeys,

You already know the drill. Have at it with my resume. Anything advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

One question - On Excel, I'm very good with running Monte Carlo Simulations, index tracking portfolios, style analysis, asset allocations using solver functions (Global minimum variance portfolios or specified return portfolios etc etc), Fama French 3 factor model. Basically all that good stuff. I've also built DCFs and NPV models for corporate projects but never to the extent that you'd see on Breaking into Wall Street or any program similar to that. I guess my question is, am I going to get ass raped for putting modeling on there given my last sentence?

Thanks for all your help you guys.

**Also I'm aware there aren't bullet points for the description under JA USA. When I was uploading it something changed I guess.

You're getting a second bachelor's degree? Or you transferred? Clean up this section to clarify what is going on here. Consider listing only Major GPA, either way list them both on one line (major gpa first in your case). Assuming you transferred, if you separate the GPAs does that help anything? Consider table format for relevant coursework.

Expand IB internship. This should be at least twice as long. Change Intern to Investment Banking Intern or similar if possible - it could get you past some automated filters.

Cut • Learned valuable lessons in teamwork, contingency plans, and time management Replace with situations in which you used these skills. Or just cut altogether.

Rewrite JA section to use more professional language.

What are these "corporate projects"? Expand skills section to include some of the stuff you describe in your post.

Too many Activities/Interests. Pull Investment club into work & leadership if possible. List specific experiences in these activities such as golf tournament, hockey team, etc. "Options trading" there are a lot of good posts/articles about listing personal investing on your resume. That it's specifically "options trading" sounds like a bit much but hey, if you made money trading options and you want to talk about it then good on you and keep it on there.

Standardize dashes and full stops on dates.

good luck
