Resume Critique - Looking to break into consulting as Experienced Hire
Hello all. Been a long time lurker, but thought I would reach out here for help as I hope to become more active on WSO.
I would love some feedback on my resume (harsh is fine)
A little background on myself:
Recently graduated from a state school (definitely non-target) while working 40-50hrs as a Store Manager for a major US wireless carrier. Overall GPA was a paltry 3.1 with about a 3.3 Major/last 60 units GPA. I understand this alone probably kills MOST (if not all) chances for a decent MC gig. I chose to work full time while going to school (married with a 3yr old currently) so that my wife and daughter didn't have to do the poor college student routine. As a member of management, I unfortunately was required to attend various meeting and obligations at work which caused me to miss more classes than others in my class, which negatively impacted my final grades. (All coursework completed was considered excellent by professors, but strict attendance policy (obviously understandable) caused me to lose a letter grade from some of my classes. I know this will haunt me and my chances at any MC firm, as well as future possibilities to a decent MBA opp. It was the choice I made and I have to live with it. Even while attending school full time, I quickly moved up within my industry and was given approvals to take on management positions even though I was attending school full time. I feel my skillset would fit nicely within an MC firm, given the chance to break-in.
My goal would be to switch from industry to MC, and either spend 2-3yrs at firm, then either attend bschool or if possible continue at firm for another 2-3 yrs then exit back to industry. I'm used to working (between school/full time work) 60hrs+ weekly, and feel that I would enjoy the consulting experience and potentially stay long term.
With my non-target school + low GPA, I realize that chances for MBB are about .0000001% (if the stars somehow aligned, well that would be a no brainer). As for tier 2 firms (Big4 Advisory etc), maybe I have a shot based on work experience. (Brother in law is an alum of Big4 Advisory and family friend is Partner at Big 4 Advisory and we've been talking about possible opps, so I feel like that may be an option but curious as to other potential firms, Accenture, IBM, Booz etc)
Any advice and critique (however harsh) would be extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance.

A lot of MC recruiting/interviewing is being a well-rounded person who shows passion in multiple areas. Right now you seem like a T-Mobile sales robot. You need to show more about yourself.
