Resume Help for Internships

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for that are still available and hopefully I can get back some good feedback. I go to a no-name small school so it's almost impossible to find any internships through the career center. My cumulative is really low, at 2.66 because I was previously in environmental engineering before I switched majors., which is why my major GPA is only listed.

I don't have any work experience of any kind so I know that might ding me. But any other way to make my resume look better is appreciated.

Don't want to sound mean but you really need to get involved in some extra curricular - school clubs, volunteering organizations etc. - to put something on your resume.

And personally, I don't put objective or references on my resume.

It does because being an athlete is a huge time commitment. You should probably expand on that a little bit instead of just listing them?

Also, I don't think you should write "Skills Learned" and be more detailed. For example, "Demonstrated strong commitment through excellent performance in the State Cross Country Team....etc.etc." instead of just listing a particular skill.

You need to be more careful with anonymizing your information- make a new WSO account b/c anyone who saw that resume knows who you are b/c of the linkedin URL on the resume.

I think to put something in your resume you must involve in some extra curricular activities. You can join is social serve organization, voluntary organization etc.
