Your opinion on "Select Transaction Experience"
From my understanding you need to have "select transaction experience" on your resume if you've worked as a full time analyst/associate at an IB. And just so we're on the same page, I'm talking about the "select transaction experience" like the one in the M&I resume template with the indentations and all. But what about for a recent college grad? I've interned at a couple IBs and a PE and i'm just not sure if i should have a "select transaction experience" section under each internship experience because it takes up plenty of space... Idk, what do you guys think about my situation and in general.
I think its worthwhile - just have 1/2 bullet points for 1/2 transactions that you worked on for each position.
I agree with Carnage. If you are pressed for space, perhaps just put it under your most recent position or wherever you made your most significant contributions.
If you were asked by an interviewer to speak about one of the valuations that you worked on, which one would you choose?
Surely, you would want to emphasize certain aspects of your work experience rather than saying all the past IB's and PE's have been the same experience.
You guys all made great points, thanks and I will do that.
