2 year break, what would you do/do i have any hope for any industry?

Hey everyone,

Been lurking for a while, so this is my first ever post on the site.

I've just finished two years at a semi-target school, and came out with a 3.6 gpa because my brain thought short-term fun > career. Anyways, I'm about to be shipped off to the military (non-U.S) for the next two years. Honestly, I have no idea what I want to do career-wise since, as a student, it's hard to conceptualize the idea of working 100 hours in investment banking without actually doing it; so, I'm going to really try and use my time in the military to think about my career choices.

My concerns are:

1. my brain is going to go smooth in the military
2. those top high-finance positions are out of my league since I've been fucking around too much. Didn't help that I couldn't find any job opportunities b/c of my immigration status (but that's no longer an issue which I am forever grateful for).

Anyways, what would you do if you were in my position? Any tips/ideas for someone like me?

Hopefully this won't be my last post, and I'll come back in one piece lol.
