Advice: King's College London vs Cass (Bayes) Business School

Hi,

To give some background, I'm just finishing my first year studying BSc Finance in Bayes, and I've received an offer to study BSc Business at King's. Unfortunately, KCL doesn't permit transfers, so I'll be starting from year 1 again.

My main motivation for replying to uni was that I received no spring internships, which I account to be primarily due to me completely missing the point of cover letters and how to write one (overconfidence, learned my lesson), as well as the 'brand name' of Bayes, having recently changed it's name from Cass and just generally being associated with City University.

Some final bit of context is that I look to develop my career in London (short term) and then move to either UAE or central Europe.

I'd like to hear your feedback on the value of switching, taking into account that I'll be loosing a year of uni progress as well as a year of overseas/international tuition, as well as the different degree as I'm left with the impression that business is weaker in recruiting.

Thank you in advance.

Hey, it is not really related to your question, but I am also going to Bayes Business School to study Finance Bcs. Is it really awful uni reputation that you couldn't find any summer interships? Did try springweeks as well?
