Advice needed for Georgetown MSB

I have been selected to the following schools and need to decide in the next 2 days where I will be heading. Due to family income, I do not qualify for any need-based aid and few schools give merit-based scholarships.

Out of pocket costs ( 4 years)

Georgetown MSB -  300k

Villanova - 280K

Fordham Gabelli - 200k( got 100k in merit aid)

Northeastern  business school  - 240 K

I would like to work in IB after finishing school so Georgetown is the clear choice but do you think it will be worth 300k? It is a lot of money to shell out.

I would always chose the cheapest school when it is somewhat close to the most expensive academically. Fordham is great school and 100k is an incredibly large amount that will take years to pay off.

Georgetown I would say is worth it. Gtown really is a top tier target so I think it's worth paying for it compared to your other options

I commited to Georgetown today. Thanks all for the advice. I also had the option to go to georgia tech for computer science, which is top 5 program in country. Hoping IB turns out better career choice than software engineer.

Plenty of people have moved from IB to Tech. High finance is just elite and selective in general, so going to a target undergrad or MBA is typically the only way in. I’d advise to keep your interest in tech active and you could always attend a coding boot camp during your career or change your major at Gtown. Gtown software engineers will get great opportunities too but I don’t know how good their program is.
