Advice on Quitting Club

Going to try to explain this as clearly as I can without doxxing myself. Some context: I'm a junior at a small liberal arts college with a '26 offer. My school's social life is very club dependent. My biggest involvement on campus is with our humanities academic journal (I study history). I was on board last year and really enjoyed the academic nature but also the social aspects of the club.

Flash forward to this year, the new board is actually deeply dysfunctional. Most aren't at all invested in the club's culture and want to make it more hierarchical. There have been constant tensions and it's honestly gotten really toxic. It's gotten to the point where I feel like I'm the only board member still pushing for a more welcoming environment and I think I should leave at the end of the semester. I know this probably sounds so stupid since it's just a nerdy little club anyway and won't do anything for my career, but it's been a big part of my experience and I really don't want to leave it behind. Outside of board, I'm very well-liked and most of this board will graduate this year anyway. But still, feeling a bit at a lost of what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated, though I honestly wrote this to vent.
