Alternative Transcript - Do I need to build one or am I overreacting?
So just wanted to know if anyone had any advice on what course of action to take regarding my situation. I'm applying in 2020 to a bunch of schools in the T10-15 range, so I still have some down time. For the most part, my numbers look solid. Got a 740 GMAT (q 47, V 45) and in undergrad, I received an economics/finance degree with a 3.48 GPA. However, I had three quant-based classes where I got a C+ (Accounting, Microeconomics, and Financial Theory). I'm a bit paranoid that these could cause some problems, so I'm wondering if I should do anything to rectify this. At one end of the spectrum would be to take one or two extension school/community college classes; at the other would be something rigorous like HBX Core. Any thoughts? Am I overreacting our would steps like these be advisable?
Hey Nobody Man, I think you deserve a response...heck, everyone does. We're listening, sorry about the delay ...my best guess at places on WSO that could help:
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
Were those C+s in your freshman year or? Do you have an upward trend in your grades? Did you take upper division classes in those fields later and do well?
Linda
