A friend of mine just got one. He has a 3.9+ gpa from a top ivy in math/econ, 790 GMAT, now at a megafund PE where 100% of its associates last year got into HBS. He only applied to HBS for this round since he knows he's getting in.

Not even KKR and BX have a 100% accept rate at Harvard. I mean if Devolution was joking that was hilarious, but otherwise - odd.

It's a fund with a higher acceptance rate than either BX or KKR? With a dude who has a 3.9+ AND a 790 GMAT? Are we really supposed to buy this?

From what I've heard, among the megafunds BX and KKR have had relatively low HBS acceptance rates in the last few years. Bain, Carlyle, and TPG have done better, but not perfect. What fund had 100% placement last year?
