You don't need hardcore econ level math for ER. The MSc Finance is already rigorous and quantitative enough. Plus their x-term is really great. I just checked some LinkedIn profiles of graduates who were hired FT by their x-term employers.

720 thanks for your advice did you get a bachelor in Bocconi? Now I am inclined to go to Bocconi cos I am considering pursuing a phd degree in the future. ESS is more suitable for my long term goal. If you have any further advises feel free to tell.

First of all congrats for the high GMAT. No I'm not doing a bachelor in Bocconi but many of my friends do. I'm enrolled in a public university here. Bocconi is a great business school and what makes Bocconi rising among the other universities in Italy is their alumni network and the partnership with many different companies. That's their added value. Teaching is good and the exams are not so overwhelming since they split them in parts.

What I don't like about Bocconi is the general snobbish sentiment they have. They consider themselves the best and the new Gordon Gekko. While, indeed, most of the people that are enrolled in that bachelor because they are paying 10k per year. (The selection process of the bachelor is not that hard)

MSc is more selective than the bachelor and is a good school. Being Italian I'd prefer doing an international experience, which is appreciated in the job world. ESS is a great program and economists that have done that program are highly regarded as good ones here in Italy. Many are involved in the public sector or in important companies.

Milan is a great city and you'll have a lot of fun down there. If you want info about anything feel free to ask.
