BA vs BS in Applied Mathematics

Hi all,

I'm a first-year finance major in the process of declaring a dual degree, and I'm stuck between a BS or a BA in Applied Math. The BS at my school includes more coursework, which may end up being a problem if I want to graduate in 4 years since I only came in with about a years worth of credits. Is there a difference in the eyes of an employer, or am I fine with my preferred BA in Applied Math + Finance combo?
