Brown vs. Cornell vs. UChicago vs. Dartmouth vs. Duke vs. Northwestern
How would you rank these schools solely for IB/PE prestige and opportunities? Which of them are the most/least respected? I just want to get an idea of how these schools would compare in this regard specifically.
IMO 1. Dartmouth 2. Brown 3. Duke - after that I think you could probabaly make compelling arguments either way. UChicago kids are also generally weird and Cornell might be more hardos

Current student at UChicago. The kids here aren't weird. The student population has gotten pretty normal now.
Good to hear man. From your experience, how was UChicago for recruiting/opportunities in finance?
Pretty much all in the same category of solid targets with the exception of Northwestern. Don’t think someone is going to be viewed differently because they studied at UChicago rather than Dartmouth or Cornell for example
Duke or northwestern if you want D1 sports. If you are not stupid you will get every placement you want at both so
Uchicago/Northwestern are as good as any if you stay and want to work in Chicago. But Evanston is a nicer place to live, so if I had to do it again I would pick NU
UChicago student here. This is false. Majority of the students who recruit from here go to NYC.
