About PE my picks are: - zombie PE funds - how a PE invest - PE portfolio - LBOs in PE strategies - PE in emerging markets

Maybe the cons is the abuse of this topic? But I think for a BSc is fine
You'll be more likely trying to recruit into an IB from undergrad so i'd go for the M&A related ones. Don't think there will be much of a difference really but could give you some interesting things to talk about in interviews.

Only just going into my first year in S&T so can't give you much advice sorry. Personally i'd go for the one that interests you the most. Being interested in your thesis makes it a much easier to work on haha. Good luck!
