Business Organizations

Hi everyone,

Just wanted some input on whether any of you joined any community business organizations such as American Finance Association (AFA) or Association for Finance Professionals (AFP)? If so was it helpful? Did you notice a change in interest once you added it to your resume? Simply wanted to know if it's a gainful investment before I join and pay their membership fees.

I am a finance major with no financial/banking work experience, and simply want to put myself in the best position to enter the field.
