Can I use CFA 2014 books to study?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, if not mods please move it. I have a huge collection of 2014 CFA study material that I got from my roommate (level 1). Can I use this material to study for the June exam or do I need to use the shitty web version of the 2016 book that I got when I signed up for the test? General CFA advice is also helpful. I studied finance, accounting and stats in college so I have a good background for the test but I haven't really started prepping yet.
