Canadian post-MBA investment analyst looking to pivot into US

I am a Canadian credit analyst currently working at an institutional long-only fixed income firm, I've been at my current job for approximately 2 years now and this is my first job after I completed MBA (2 year program at a top Canadian business school). Prior to MBA, I have 3 years of buy-side experience in investment research and management. I am now looking to move to the US, location agnostic. Been applying to online job postings for the past 3ish months and got 1 interview that went quite well until the last stage.
Would love to hear your experiences and advice.
