Cass Business School MSc??

Any opinions on this? Is Cass any good for IBD (products) placement? I heard it does better at the postgraduate level

Context: already have an IB internship from a BB under my belt, just padding out in case no return / if I want to explore a bit more

I don't think there's a single uni that does better at graduate level - it's ubiquitously less competitive than undergraduate

If you don't think you're going to get the return why not just apply for grad schemes instead?

Also if you're ok with spending 30k on a masters why not oxbridge/imperial/ucl/lbs?

I dont want to go to Oxbridge because I won't be able to afforded to live outside London.

I'm applying to some grad schemes, but aren't they super competitive because it'll just be like going for scraps, whatever is left? I thought the vast majority of people are from the internship programme

Plus, I quite like Cass but yeah let's see! I'll have a looksie at Imperial, but their MSc finance course looks a bit ridiculously expensive. I was thinking of doing an econ degree...

well i thought that my BB IBD internship would complement Cass, as in it'd outweigh the lower status of Cass compared to LBS/HEC. i just thought that I wouldn't really struggle getting anything with that + my BB IBD background

I mean at that point, why pay 31,000 GBP to go to a school you admit yourself is second tier, you can easily go to Rotterdam and pay 1,900 GBP (if you are EEA national) and get a similar prestige and lower COL than London, with similar opportunities after.
