CFA® for me?

Hi! New to the forum.
Here is the situation: I am not sure to take the CFA®
level I and I need advice!
I have been recently admitted to an MBA program, I was thinking in taking the CFA®
level I in order to improve my resume.
How useful can be doing only the Level I of the exam? Would it help me to get a summer job? What type of summer job?

Any suggestions?
Thank you!

If you got into a Top 5 MBA program you should be good dude just revel in the victory.

Pretty much, but if you REALLY want to get the CFA, it won't hurt. Just remember to network, as who you know is more important than knowing every obscure finance detail. You'd probably be better off finding a way to study ahead to clear up time while at school so you can meet as many people as possible.

CFA is great if your intent is to learn a bit more before you get to class. Keep in mind that just having CFA level 1 probably won't help you that much. You are going to a top b-school, so as long as you work hard and do well, CFA probably won't matter (unless you're going into AM or something where they'll want you to get it)

AM is Asset Management.

To echo New Yorker, where are you coming from and what kind of work did you do?
