Chances at HSW/M7?

Hi all,

Would appreciate a profile review for US MBA programs. I'm looking to apply either R2 this year to these schools, or apply R1 next year. Dream school is Wharton because my post-MBA goals are PE/VC, but I know I'm in an extremely competitive bucket so not too confident about my chances.

  • 3.8 gpa from T50 undergrad
  • STEM Masters from HYP
  • 730 GMAT
  • ORM
  • WE: 3 years at renewable energy IB boutique (have solid deal experience I can speak to), currently an associate
  • Why MBA: want to transition to Cleantech VC. I realize this is possible without an MBA but primary reason why I want to be at business school is to build a network.
  • EC: volunteering at local non-profits. likely my biggest weakness. no excuses here but barely have time outside work to devote to solid EC's
  • Reach: GSB, HBS, Wharton
  • Targets; Sloan, Haas, Tuck
