Chances at top 10 MBA

3.5 GPA econ major (couple classes short of stats minor) at a top 10 public, top 30 overall university

Was very involved in SG on campus and a few clubs

2 summer internships in the middle office of large bank servicing a top HF. Taught myself VBA and built some operational risk tools.

1 year as an ETF fund accountant at a top custody bank

1 year in a client service role at a BB (half middle office work, half relationship management)

Currently studying for CFA level 1. Confident I can have level 1 & 2 passed in two years prior to MBA admissions.

Haven’t taken the GMAT but pretty confident I can score at least a 720-740 (bullshit guess based on IQ->GMAT percentiles, think it’s feasible though)

The plan is to move into a BB equity research or credit risk role for a couple years and then start applying.

How do I look for M7? Any tips or holes in my profile?
