Choosing between nationalities when applying to universities

Hi - I live in Europe and I have both the US and a European citizenship and I would like to know if my chances of getting in an MSF program in the US would be higher if I applied as a US citizen or if I applied as a European or if it is equivalent?
Thanks

I would say apply as an US citizen for the reason that schools care about their employment report and as a US citizen you have the work authorization. Since you already live in EU, you already bring that diversity factor they need (if they care)

Perhaps you could apply as an EU citizen to bolster the school's diversity numbers and have a line on your resume (or somewhere on the application) mentioning US citizenship. Since you have both, you might as well find a way to demonstrate that through the application process.

Fours mentioned employment reports, as a dual citizen you have effectively doubled your career opportunities. So now the school will see you as someone who boosts their "we have students from 32 countries enroll each year" statistic as well as the "X% of graduates obtained work within 6 months" statistic. Schools are all about their rankings. You might as well play to that.

In the end, it won't make or break you but it certainly couldn't hurt.
