Considering quitting my job to do Georgetown MSF full time?

I've been thinking about quitting my engineering job to do my MSF full time. My company offers an extremely generous Masters stipend. My job is extremely cushy and I can probably weather out the current job market. But I can't see myself living in this city any longer and I am not building up the skills I am interested in. I am concerned that the job market is going to be pretty bad still when I graduate. I don't plan on doing a MBA post grad.

 Based on my resume what do you guys think i should do? My job exp has been at well known companies. Post graduation, I am interested in roles in the DC/ NYC area. Ideally I am looking for a biz analyst, gov consulting, or risk analyst role ideally at a bank/ insurance company. I don't think I am cut out for workload required for a IB/ PE role.

My main motivation and honest reason for leaving is that I hate working the manufacturing industry and also living in the rural middle of nowhere locations the jobs are located. Its affecting my physical/ mental health and relationships. I know for a fact if I stay down this path. I will probably end up living in the middle of nowhere working factory production hours. This is a future I am not willing to accept. I've tried networking into an office role. But I think my mental health is affecting my attitude at work and its relationships in and outside of work.

Has anyone done the MSF at Georgetown? How time consuming is the work load? How hard is it to get into the clubs (consulting, GUSIF, etc)? Are there any other clubs that I am not aware of? Will I be bored with all the free time? Is there any advice to offer/ things that I have not considered? Would you agree that this is a bad idea?
