Dual Major vs. Dual Degree?

I am a just recently graduated student and plan on getting in and out into the job market as fast as possible. I have been thinking and I was wondering if I should focus on a dual major of Finance & Economics and flying through school a few years or should I choose a dual degree program?

Which looks better on a resume? What major should I choose if I take the dual degree?

I hope to one day be in either a HF or PE.

Just to add some in there: how about study abroad programs? In Germany most of my friends have been abroad for a semester or a year. Either you get a complete one-year master's degree abroad during your regular two-year master's degree in Germany and get some credits for the foreign degree, or you just take a couple of classes abroad and get credits for them. Italy, France, England, Spain, Finland, Denmark whatever. Also helps a lot in further learning the second or third foreign language (French, Spanish, Italian) you already had to take in high-school apart from English.

Depends on what you want to do. Finance and Economics may be redundant. Either: 1) stick with just finance; or 2) go for a dual degree which may or may not make your resume more interesting. Perhaps add a language degree or better yet study abroad as Fredbird suggested.

However, if you can land a good job with just the finance degree I'd say one year of work experience generally outweighs one year spent getting another degree (unless you graduated in 2008...)
