Duke vs Princeton Undergrad

Hi WSO,

I had decided to attend Duke university but just got off the waitlist at Princeton. The cost of both schools is exactly the same. I would do the BS economics, finance concentration at Duke, and econ with a finance certificate at Princeton. I felt like I would fit in at both schools culturally after my visits, and the academic curriculums seem to be more or less similar after reading the websites. I'm very interested in pursuing roles in investment banking and asset management and want to base my decision on career prospects offered at both schools. I don't think either school has grade inflation like Harvard, Yale, and Brown so getting top grades would probably be relatively difficult at either school. Please give any advice you have as I have to make my decision soon. Thanks!

Duke is one of the best schools in the country, but yes, to reiterate the above, go to one of the most prestigious schools in the world with greater global recognition. It's pretty much like saying lower tier ivy (Darthmouth, Brown) or Princeton..kind of obvious.
