ESADE MFin vs FSFM MFin

I recently got admitted to both of the mentioned schools for their MFin programs. I am currently studying at a non-target university, pursuing an Integrated Master’s in Business and Admin, and I will be graduating in June 2026. I have a solid GPA of 3.5/4.0 and my goal is to break into finance, preferably at a BB or MM. Although I am also open to AM and the buy side

I speak four languages fluently, including a Nordic language and English. As a Nordic citizen, I can easily relocate within Europe, so I don’t have any specific location preferences, although my long-term goal is to move back to the Nordics.

I don’t have any directly relevant experience yet, apart from a part-time role as an Associate at a small consultancy firm in my university town.

My question is: which school would better maximize my chances of breaking into a BB or MM?

If you want to return to the nordics go to SSE or a UK School. CBS is also great. Don't go to ESADE or FSFM has 0 network in the nordics...

The issue is that it is really hard to get accepted to SSE MFin if you are a swedish student and the issue with CBS is that for nordic students they dont allow you to send your GMAT and ONLY look at the transcript and one motivational letter, besides that you get the admission decision in June and I do not know if I am ready to turn down ESADE or FSFM to just hope for CBS. I would rather hedge and go for something that is guaranteed, if you get what I think.

Okay, thanks! And what do you think about the fact that FSFM is 2 years and ESADE is 1 year and when I start in September 2026 I will be 25, will it be an issue because if I go to FSFM I will be graduating as 27 years old.

Okay thank you so much, and let’s say if the nordics is in 5+ years and not the entry role after each school or even the second role. Would your recommendation change?
