Fordham Gabelli vs Rutgers Business

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the process of deciding between the Fordham and Rutgers business schools. I want to study finance and pair my major with something technical like computer science and I aspire to break into investment banking, preferably into an Mergers & Acquisitions position. Here are my thoughts on both schools.

Rutgers: decently strong Finance program. Large alumni base. Has clubs geared toward investment banking. Will receive instate tuition as NJ resident. Know many people that attend Rutgers, are in the business program and study finance. Used to big state school feel due to my time at Indiana. Besides finance they also have the Business Analytics major which is supposed to be hot right now and a good computer science department. Train station close to campus to get to Manhattan. 2 years minimum to finish.

Fordham: Strong finance program. Located in Bronx (Rose Hill campus) so can work internship easily during semester if I want to. Trade state school feel for city life and get used to a city where I will potentially be working when I graduate. Networking with kids from rich families in the Northeast. 2 years minimum to finish. Better "name" than Rutgers. Know other kids already going to school in city, but not at Fordham (that well that I could talk to them). Tight knit alumni and smaller school setting where I might be able to receive more 1 on 1 help career wise from the school. Has investment banking club. Cons are that it currently costs ~$70k a year but the financial aid office did not have my SSN on file until today to offer me a financial aid package. Fordham also does not have any tech related business major or minors and supposedly has a weak computer science program.

With all of that said, I want the best possible route to reach my goal to work in investment banking when I graduate, but I also don't want enormous debt. What is the better business school/ what do you recommend I chose and why based off my needs.
