Frankfurt finance management interview

Just had interview for msc finance program. Can't find any statistics on acceptance rate or acceptance rate once you have been interviewed. Said it would be 1-2 weeks before I would know. Anyone have any experience or idea about what an approximate acceptance rate would be here?

non-German here as well. Yes I applied to WHU and been invited to the on-campus interview, which I'm going to attend on the 24th. Not sure what you want to do but I've never heard of FSFM as top school for IBD, maybe is corporate banking.

If you have a good level of German, which I do, from what I can tell its a great place for getting your foot in the door In the finance industry. Salaries are lower in frankfurt but so is COL and people often transfer to London. Either way, I feel like it will put me in a better spot than I find myself in in Kentucky right now. I want to become business fluent by the time I graduate so if worst comes to worst ill be more marketable in the American market if I am unable to find a job in Germany

Salaries are lower in Frankfurt?

Analyst 1 at a top boutique in Frankfurt: €65k + €35k = €100k Analyst 1 at the same boutique in London: GBP45k + GBP20k = GBP65k

Additionally, cost of living is a joke in Frankfurt, compared to London.

@fours: This is just my opinion, but living in Oestrich-Winkel (EBS) or Vallendar (WHU) for two years is just terrible. They may have slightly better placement in Frankfurt, but if your grades are good and you have some solid internships under your belt, you won't have any problems breaking into German IB from the university in Frankfurt.

Do you/have you worked in Frankfurt? If so, how did you like it? How good does one's German have to be?

Thanks for the shout. Yeah I'm very skeptical of that. It's why I opted to visit the campus while they offered me a Skype interview. Bocconi is the only other school I'm counting on (sent in my app for Cologne as well but not very keen). I don't speak German (going to learn though) and not necessarily looking to work in Germany so I thought these schools will give me an edge.

non german here. Going by the FT rankings isnt FSBM the top rated program for Msc fin in germany.
