Getting started in IB for highschooler

I am a sophomore in high school, with essentially no knowledge of IB. I want to peruse a career in invest banking, or something with data analysis in banking. What are some things that I should due to grow my resume, in order to get into a target school? I know people talk all the time about “living life in high school” but I feel like I can balance both, and will honestly put IB ahead of my social life for the next few years, in order to be successful in the future. What are some tips that I should know for my future?

Little confused on what this means- but if you are talking about how those two sentences are pretty contradictory, I understand that. I put this post out as a way to start my IB journey, and as of right now I am attempting to self study, but am a little lost.

I guess no knowledge was an overstatement, I do of course have a basic understanding of what it is. I also enjoy working with finances, and do not mind the long hours of work that the job entails. My father as well is involved in invest banking, working in M&A, and what he does is very interesting to me.
