High School Senior Weighing Options for Investment Banking

Hey everyone!

I applied finance/Econ everywhere and here’s my early results:

Accept: Penn State Smeal (in state, net $150k), IU Kelley (net $200k), Georgia Tech Scheller (net $200k)

Defer: Mich Ross, USC Marshall, Cornell Dyson (ED)

Reject: UNC, UVA

I aspire to break into IB and applied Uchicago ED2, although I'm considering pulling my ED2 since UChicago due to financial reasons (2x price of current options) and their funding issues. Although finances aren't too major of an issue for my family, I wanted to hear your thoughts on whether I should keep my ED2 or defer my ED2 to RD to see if I can get into another target, and also if the recruiting prospects are worth 2x the price of Kelley or Georgia Tech.
