Why don't you wait for your second year of Masters to apply if you really want a second Masters? I mean, in French Business Schools if I understood well you have a gap year between M1 & M2 to do internships right?

So you'll see, if you manage to get good internships in PM or Trading during this year you may not need to do a Second Master.

Don't know much about HKU, isn't HKUST better?

The point is, I am already doing 6 month of internship in HK.

I need to finish a master degree, so 1 year in France or 1 year in Hong Kong, thats the same for me so I am trying to find which is the best. Thats why, if HKU is great I could stay in Hong Kong. But again, it is really hard to find people from the HKU master, even on linked in ...

I wouldn't bother. HKU is not known for good masters programs, let alone being good at anything (except Medicine, and maybe the law school.)

Do you think it can be a good springboard for doing an american one after that? I saw a lot of ppl on linkedin doing hku bachelor and after harvard or yale.

HKU is not hot in finance, especially graduate programs. Only good point would be the on-the-ground presence and the networking.
