How Important is Undergrad Prestige for Admissions to MSF?
I'm currently going to a non target state school and looking for a rebrand from a good MSF. How important is undergrad prestige when applying to the MSF?
For example, if I get above average (for admitted students) GPA and GMAT, assuming good intern experience, would I have a good shot at a program like USC? Or would I need a significantly higher GPA/GMAT than the average to offset the fact that I'd be coming from an average state school?
Thanks!
Honestly, if you have a 3.5+ gpa & 700+ GMAT you can have a decent shot at any msf program
Some schools factor UG institution more than others. As Saïd above , the MSF isn't as snobby as the MBA. If you have the stats, you'll be good.
