Berkeley is a well-known target school. Some of the elite finance clubs can be quite challenging to break into at Berkeley but you can always still break into IB without being part of them.

 

Not sure what the nonsense is with Amherst but Berkeley has a huge alumni base across IB and the buyside with way better stem programs and a top3 business school. The people telling you Amherst and it’s not close are completely misguided…
