Impact of military on Business School App?

I'm not in the military and I am not planning on joining, but I was just curious, what is the impact of military on B-school applications? For example, if you went to a top 10 undergrad school, got a 700+ on the GMAT, had 1-2 great extracurriculars and were a marine, are you basically a lock at a top 15 business school? How about other branches of the military? Do business schools give preference to certain branches over others? I'm actually just curious. I personally think they should be if they are putting their lives on the line to serve our country and are smart enough to crank through an elite school. I have the utmost respect for soldiers. I was just wondering how much of an impact it has on B-school admissions.
