Incoming MSF student w/ internship this summer -- ask for an earlier start?

I'm a senior and have been admitted to an MSF program for the next academic year. However, I have a summer analyst position lined up at a boutique with healthy deal flow. With the current market conditions, I'd take a year of actual IB work experience over another year of school, and it seems like most of you would feel the same in my shoes.

A couple questions I had were:

1) How and when in my internship do I signal to HR and the full-time guys that I'd be open to forgoing another year of school and being brought on immediately following the summer, or off-cycle in January?

2) Would taking the SIE and Series 63 (both don't require company sponsorship) on my own make my case stronger?

Of course, this is all contingent on them having a seat open and being satisfied with my performance during the internship but I want to have a plan to shoot my shot regardless.
