Is GWU good for IB?

Hey all, have a younger brother who got into GWU in their school of business recently and will likely commit there.

Should he transfer to a better school like Georgetown or stay put for the next 4 yrs?

Based on the WSO Dataset, Georgetown has a strong reputation for placing its graduates into investment banking roles. It's often highlighted for its excellent networking opportunities and strong alumni presence in the industry. If your brother is highly focused on a career in investment banking, transferring to Georgetown could potentially offer more direct pathways and better recruitment opportunities compared to GWU.

However, it's also important to consider that success in investment banking can also come from excelling at GWU, leveraging its resources, and actively networking. The decision to transfer should also weigh other factors such as the financial implications, the potential loss of credits, and personal preferences regarding school environment and culture.
