Is it a wise idea to enroll in a Masters if 'laid off' due to COVID?

Hello monkeys!

I have been during the previous days thinking about my future and am considering applying for a Masters in Europe (I guess I will go with Finance) as a backup plan. I have been doing a 'grad scheme' in an European IB boutique (not EB) since 3Q 2019 and would like to ask if it would be a good idea to enroll in a business school postgrad (my undergrand is from a non-target). The problem is: I count with more experience than the average MSFin student, while less experience than candidates in MBA or post-experience MSc programmes. I know it may be a bit late for many of the programs, but current COVID situation caught me off guard.

I am involved in very interesting projects and like my job (would like to stay), while I have also delivered good results and the MD seems to be very happy with me. However, my contract will end in some months and I am kind of afraid with the thought of not receiving an extension offer due to current market conditions.

Currently age 23, 24 when I would start it.
