Is the school worth the extra tuition?

Hello.  I have posted here a while ago about going to a non target as a freshmen and was worried about future prospects in the financial industry.  Needless to say I worked my ass off, got a 4.0, got an internship with a government financial advisory firm, and have been accepted to multiple Universities for the upcoming winter/spring semester.    I have narrowed it down to two, and would appreciate some input.  The universities are UIUC - Econ and U-Mich LAS (would major in econ).  Now while i know michigan has a better program, UIUC is giving me a 50% scholarship for tuition, on top of the in state tuition.  U-Michigan is giving me very little financial aid with OOS tuition.  I would be fine with joining the ROTC, and would attempt to get the Finance corp as a job if I did that.  Would that be worth it from a career perspective.
(Also please note I would not be joining ROTC solely for the potential scholarship, it was something I considered for years)
