Very good place to be. We’ve got two going to PJT RSSG, several to blackstone, WP recruited on campus (not sure if anyone got the role) and more than a couple going to each EB, BB, and large MM bank. Maybe HPYW is slightly better, but it’s really splitting hairs at that point.

Placement is even better for buyside than IB, I’d say. Lots of doors open for those who want to bypass the IB route and go somewhere like BDT, GTCR, Vista, etc.
Really really damn good. All of the EBs (except Moelis), every BB, and smaller shops (M. Klein, Qatalyst) recruit out of the school. If you make it through the miserably hard classes, you'll be a cut above the rest of your analyst class. Plus, everyone on the street will think you're a bonafide genius just because you can explain cournot competition from your econ 200s classes.

As someone who went through the latest recruiting cycle, very very strong recruiting out of UChicago. Top kids went to PJT RSSG, Q, Evercore M&A, MS Menlo, MS M&A.
