Job prospects for an international student in the U.K.?

Hi people, as the title says, is it easier to find a job and get the work Visa in the U.K. than in the U.S., where H1B is a little bit hard to get because people go through lottery? Anyone knows anything about international students' job-seeking/working environment in England/U.K. ? Thanks.

Several international top-tier graduates I have met during my career were sponsored by their new employers in London and/or other locations (they were from King's, LSE, Insead, ..). I do not know anything about the actual process but if you are able to secure a position and you are an essential candidate it should work out? Can't give any legal references or quotations, sorry.
