Low Gpa Mitigation: UCLA Extension Classes vs Harvard Business School Online

Besides destroying the GMAT, which of these two options would be better to mitigate a low GPA in preparation for MBA applications? I am leaning towards UCLA Extension classes but wanted to hear other thoughts.

Hi Scram Frankln,

If you're applying to HBS, probably HBS Online. If you are applying elsewhere and would attend the UCLA Extension classes, then the one you feel you would get higher grades would be the one I'd recommend. Yes, I realize that HBS Online does not use a traditional grading method.

For additional steps that will be helpful to you in overcoming a low GPA, please see https://blog.accepted.com/what-to-do-about-a-low-gpa/</a">5 As for your Low GPA..

I would recommend the UCLA extension class or another course (either online or in person) where you will be issued a formal transcript upon course completion.

Your course selection depends on what you studied undergrad and your quantitative readiness for an MBA program.
