Masters in Statistics vs Data Science for broad exit opps?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about choosing between MS in stats or data science for a target quant trading job, then eventually maybe machine learning jobs in other industries like automobile or government. Which degree would give me the most bang for my buck on my resume in terms of broad job opportunities across multiple fields?
