MBA - when to let know your boss?
Im planning to apply to an MBA program this year. I work at a small PE coinvestment shop and I’m already an associate and there’s not much room to grow further. Both MPs are HBS grads and was considering talking to them prior to starting the process to seek guidance / support from them, but am afraid it could damage my work as they may get spooked of me leaving as we’re a small firm.
Any thoughts? Should I talk to them early on or wait until I am about to apply (prob September or January 25)
