Most dangerous time for Asian international students?

I received admissions from several schools this past Round 1 but looking at all the hate crimes going on in the U.S. rn against Asians, I am seriously beginning to reconsider doing an MBA. What r your thoughts?

I think that's an irrational fear. Most likely you'll be fine. Just do your research and stay safe.

You’ve been watching the media too much. I can guarantee you’re gonna have to look for this type of situations if you want to become a hate crime statistic, especially if you’re in investment banking.

As a young and presumably in-shape one, you don't need to worry as much. The thugs are mostly attacking the elderly as easy targets. That being said, I was myself assaulted and sent to the ER a few months ago - so don't let these guys gaslight you into thinking that anti-Asian racism isn't a problem at all.

I was based in a city that had a Stop the Steal rally. I was walking home the night before it and got shoved / punched out of nowhere by a white guy who told me to go back where I came from. Not a pleasant experience to reflect on.

It's just so, so frustrating when people (predominantly - but not all - conservative-leaning white people / karens) say oh, I didn't know this is happening so it can't be a big deal. Like holy shit, the reason why you don't know this is happening is because the mainstream media generally did not give a fuck, because they knew people like you don't give a fuck! And there's also other people (predominantly - but not all - sjws + leftists) who say, well, Asians are rich / advantaged / whatever so it can't be a racist thing, when the perp is a POC.

Obviously those are huge generalizations, but it's really frustrating to feel so... isolated and alone based on my identity given the current political environment (right-wing: go back to china, kung flu! left-wing: asians are complicit in white power so we should stop complaining)

A b-school classmate of mine was assaulted recently in San Francisco. She was just walking down the street when a random person attacked her out of nowhere yelling "go back to China". Two Asian men have been killed in the Bay Area just in February and hundreds more have reportedly been assaulted. Watch the local news and I see everyday some poor Asian's car windows got smashed. I wouldn't take it lightly.

Should Black people be worried about getting an MBA in China given the anti-african/anti-black racism in that country shown across all media during the initial outbreak of Covid? If what I just said made absolutely no sense to you, then your post makes absolutely no sense either. There's no anti-asian racism in the USA, and the cherry picked incidents you consume in the media (by the liberal media to drive a narrative) is not representative of the whole USA. You would have to pardon me if I don't give a shit.

Edit: 6 MS only? I'm surprised. You CCP shells can do so much better than that if you put your heart to it. I guess we're all going to pretend as if africans weren't getting barred from entering shopping malls simply because they were black. We're going to pretend like africans weren't getting kicked out and evicted from their homes with signs that said, "no renting to black people." We're going to pretend like africans weren't being denied medical care in china for being black. But anti-asian racism in the USA am I right guys? Miss me with that Bullshit.

Have you considered maybe you got MS because what you said pretty much implied "they were racist, why can't we be racist?" Not every rebuttal to your stupidity is from a CCP shell.

There is anti-Asian racism in America; it's very real - and it's geared towards Asian Americans, who have absolutely nothing to do with COVID or Asians in Asia. If you deny that, it means you just chose to ignore it. Look at the statistics.
