Are you looking to get an MS/PhD or do you already have one and just want to brush up on some skills?
Looking to get an ms/phd as currently only have bs finance from Stern
I guess I am not following you, a PhD requires a ton of work, at least a 5 year commitment if you don't have a masters. If you want to "brush up on programming skills" and are dead set on getting a Masters, you can check out any number of universities that have what is called the "course-option". Meaning, you take courses, and you don't have to write a thesis. This is what I did, and it is designed for someone that wants exposure to the higher level math and programming(i did electrical engineering, but financial engineering, ms finance will all be the same) and wanting to bring these skills to industry rather than academia.
Berkley/Stanford/UW/UCLA/USC/UCSB are all fine institutions.
