New Member here with some questions.

Hello, I've been a long time lurker who is going to be a junior once the fall semester starts and I'm looking for advice.

-went to a University for a year before I had health issues and had to take two years off from school. After this hiatus I went to a community college and maintained a gpa of only 3.5.

-transferred to a non target state school and health issues relapsed. I didn't want to take time off so I began with no gpa and I managed to get poor grades for my first year here. Since then I've spent three semesters averaging over a 3.5 per semester.

Bottom line: if I graduate on time I will have a below average gpa. If I stay in school for a little longer I can get over that 3.5 threshold.

-Am I being irrational by leaving the community college off my resume to avoid a negative connotation?

-Realistically is getting a front office internship during senior year out of reach by now? I was aiming at IBD when I was a freshman.

-How bad is it that junior year will be over soon and I couldn't get a relevant internship?

-How can I approach this situation so I don't say the wrong thing on an application or during an interview?

-How will this affect my chances at graduate school?

-What would you do to make yourself a better applicant for an internship if you were me?
